Journal Update: 6 April 06

Hello friends! Hope everyone is well and ready for the weekend. I know I am! Hard to believe that we are already finished with the first quarter of this
year. SXSW is over, so I am now eagerly waiting for the next two big events that will be held this month. (Eyeors and the Bob Marley Fest).

I missed out on the Bob Marley fest last year due to work, but I am hopeful that I will not miss this event in two weeks. Eyeor’s will be held on the 29th
and that I wouldn’t miss for the world. I had to much fun last year. This year I will be able to capture the memories for us all with my Canon. Last year it
was in another state being repaired so I had to purchase a few point and shoot walmart cameras to capture these memories. Really sucked due to the
fact that I use many of my photo’s for Art and the pixels on those cameras are crappy. Needless to say, this limited my ability to create Art  that would
have rocked.

I have some wonderful photo’s to share with you today from the last SXSW event that I was able to attend (Leeann Atherton’s Barn Yard Bash). I am
not quite sure what I plan to share at this point because I have been to busy to look through and absorb the best photo’s.

One artist that I would like you to know about is a fellow Austinite (Trent Turner). While at the event he gave me a CD and I have been sharing this
music with you for about 2 weeks now. Trent is a wonderful guitarist and vocalist that will surely get your attention. The energy he presents while
performing is breath taking. Be sure to check out his web site that I placed in the caption next to his photo.

Another local musician and favourite of mine is Kris Brown. Kris will be performing at both the Bob Marley Fest and Eyeor’s. I asked Kris what time he
will be performing at Eyeor’s and he told me that he was scheduled for 3 pm.  For more info. on Kris check out his website:
www.familysauce.com

It’s funny, when I sat down to begin this entry today I had a ton of thoughts that I wanted to share, but I guess I am so anxious to get to what I love the
most (ART) that they seem to elude me now.

Thank You you all so much for returning to the site to appreciate the photography and the Art. This weekend I plan to go to the Bass O’ Rama event
so wish me luck. I hope to catch the biggest fishy! Tee Hee!
Respectfully, Wesley

Journal Update: March 15, 2006

Hello neighbor’s!  Deserving Day outside today. It’s great hearing all of the birds sing to us in the mornings again. I can hardly wait to camp out at
Perdenales River in the next few weeks.

Last Summer I would Campout at Twin Falls and when morning would come I’d awake to the songs of the birds as they fed over the open swimming
hole. Incredible site watching them glide in to catch the unsuspecting dragon flies! You are not allowed to campout at Twin Falls (located off Mopac:
The Green Belt) because the city has an ordinance forbidding it, but it didn’t stop me. APD has better things to do than walk a 15 minute hike down a
challenging hill in the wee hours of the morning. One night I had my camp fire really high and a police helicopter flew down and flashed me with their
lights. I thought for sure they would be down to run me off or give me a citation but they never showed. giggle! Unfortunately, the lack of rain will have
this swimming hole bare for awhile ) :

I have today off work and decided to use it to fix the past journals on my home page. They have been out of commission for awhile due to computer
trouble but everything seems to be up and ready for viewing whenever you have the chance to appreciate some art of local musicians and other
things that seemed to jump out at me.

Be sure to check out Jes the Adventurers latest update. He sent a ton of wonderful photos from his trip to Italy. The Sunsets are my favourite… your
going to love them. Tonight my partner and I will be attending the Austin Music Awards at the Austin Music Hall.  I hope to have some of this to share
with you soon. I have a heavy schedule throughout the next few weeks so I will be using every little chance I can get to work on this and other projects.

I never did make it to Ruta Mayas last week to hear Chris Brown (drag) but I did make it to Dharana’s First Friday Party. The photo flick was a big hit
but I am unable to share it due to the file size. It takes about 10 minutes to watch it. I have been so busy with other projects that I have yet to look at
the photography I captured at the party. Wonder what will jump out at me…hmmmmmm! I'd better look at this for potentual Art to share today.

As for now, I plan to close and move on to work on something that has eluded me over the past few weeks (ART!). I think I may back track into time
and focus on some past photography to share. Not sure what it will be until I get there but when I am you will be the first to know! Drop back in for a
peek when you can. ( :  Respectfully, Wesley

Journal Update: March 3, 2006

Hello trusted friends! Nice to be back here with you for a spell. The past two weeks have been filled with time to get out and about. I have some
wonderful photography to share here with you today.

The photography that I am sharing here today was taken at several  different music venues and a South Austin home country picking party.
(Continental Club, Hambones Party, Trophys, Marias, Gino’s, Jo’s, and Fat Tuesday at the Flamingo Cantina.

While at Trophys we met Mike Vernon ( plays with 3 Balls of Fire) and Margaret Moser (Staff Writer for the Austin Chronicle). We presented one of
the Texas Music calendars to Margaret who “loved it” and asked us to come photograph 3 Balls of Fire with many others at the Austin Music Awards
at the Austin Music Hall on March 15. I can hardly wait to share this with you and myself….lol. Check out 3 Balls of Fire web site by

( :

Something else you should listen up on is the live Set w/ Larry Monroe that Mark Ambrose will be having. Saturday, March 4 @ 3:00 on KUT 90.5 FM

Jes emailed me last Wednesday to let me know that he will be on his way to Italy (without anyone to guide him). He tells me that he is very excited and
that his butterflies grow as he ventures off alone to Italy. He takes us in spirit and sends his Peace and Love! His next update should be a treat so
“don’t miss it!”
( : See his page for a detailed list of his arrival and departure times. It also contains contact phone numbers! If I was alone I know I would have some
bumble bees stirring around my insides…lol!

As for the remainder of this week, I plan to bring it to a close at Dharana'ss First Friday  Picking party (I have a few photos from this past event
below!) and at Ruta Mayas Saturday Night (Chris Brown with Five Ton). These parties are always filled with wonderful moments, memories of great
tunes and great people. Today I plan to create a movie of past  Picking Parties to share with everyone at the party this evening. If I have time I will
share it here with you on the site today.

With a close I bid you well and trust that your spirits will be blessed with nothing less than good fortune. Respectfully, Wesley

Journal Update: February 17, 2006

Top of the morning to you! Hope all is well and that you are in good spirit. As for myself, I am doing wonderful and keeping busy with marketing the
first Austin Music Scene Calendar. We now have this Calendar available at Heart of Texas Music, Austin Music, Scruffy’s (On 6th) and will be meeting
with a few other potential clients later today. In addition to this we will have an Art Display along with these Calendars available at a booth this coming
Sunday at Maria’s Taco Express and at the SXSW event at Dave and Cindy’s located on Slaughter Creek. I will hopefully have this address for you
prior to the event so that you can join us in listening to some wonderful musical talent.

Aside from all or this, I am eagerly waiting for Jes to send me his update and photo’s. Be sure to check out his latest update and enjoy the Art that I
will be publishing that a dear friend of his Mother's created. She is a wonderfully talented painter with plenty to share! Check out the links under the
"Links to write home about!"

The photo’s I am sharing with you here on the site today are some favourites that my partner and I have used for our Austin Music Calendar, First
Friday with Dharana and Friends (Country picking party held ever first Friday), Tracy Conover (At Trophy’s), and Michael Clay (at Marias).

While at Trophy’s last week Chris Bynum gave me a copy of Tracy’s CD (Live! At the Cactus Moon) so I will be sharing some of this music with you
over the next few days. She is a wonderful Blues Artist and I hope to photograph her again soon. I was unable to stay and enjoy her music due to
other commitments the night I happened in on her performance at Trophy’s. She does have a web site so check it out when you get a chance.

photography! Wesley

Friday February 3, 2006

Hello my good humoured and good natured companions. Hope that the first month of 2006 has been valued and advantageous. I would like to thank
you for returning to the site to check up on Jes and I. If you are new to the site and do not know Jes, then click on his link above or

Jes has been in Amsterdam for close to a year now and has used the site here to share his experience with all his friends and family. Excellent
Scenic Photo's along with his quick witted updates in his journal.

January’s closure was wonderful due to the finalization and creation of the First Austin Music Calendar. Soon this calendar will be available at a few
of our local Music Stores and by this creation we have contracted other jobs for future Calendar Art (Marias and the Continental Club) “Very
Exciting!”

Another highlight for me in January was the Marriage of a good friend of mine (James Pearce). I had the opportunity of photographing his wedding at
Marias (Restaurant/Music Venue) located on Lamar. I’m sharing some of this photography below along with a piece of Art that I created on behalf of
the occasion! It was beautiful watching him and his bride say their vows to one another on the stage at Marias Music Venue. Made many of us
Southerners here in Austin shed a tear. I know I did ( : shhh!

Before I close I would like to thank all of you who stopped by the booth on Congress last night to purchase a Calendar and provide the enthusiastic
feedback of the work we have created of some of Austins finest (Toni Price, Gary Clark, Bob Schneider, and many more) .

Unfortunately A.P.D came and shut us down due to the fact that Gueros called them and wined about us being there. (I am SHOCKED by how RUDE
the MAN from GUEROS was.) Be it known that we gained permission thorough the part owner of the property located next door to the establishment
but the other part owner (Gueros) would not accept this and became MARTIANS. I think they were worried about the 50 bucks that they charge
everyone else to have a booth beneath the lit trees outside of thier Restaurant. Too bad we did not have the number of the pleasant gentleman who
gave us permission. Thats all A.P.D would have needed. Bad us for not having it, but BAD FOR GUEROS for being such tight asses and NON-
SUPPORTERS of a few wonderful local artist trying to help a charitable cause. Austin Weird would be discussed with them. Ahhhhhhh, feels so good
to vent ( : Can hardly wait to never eat there again...tee hee!

Well friends I am off to explore and create some aRt To ShArE. Have a Glorious day and true February! Wesley
I have been unable to make it to any of these gigs! All work and no play for me over the past few weeks...I did
follow up with a few friends and heard some great feedback on Subrosa Union and Jason Freed. There is a
great click of regulars that hold the fort at the Tomato.

If you like  cold beer on draft, pool, and fooze ball, you can find both here and do so "without"  putting a hole in
you pocket. Pool is under a buck and a cold draft beer is "only" a $1.00.  I went to the Continental club a few

Happy New Year Tribespeople! Hard to believe it has almost been 2 weeks since my last entry (WOW!). Time just fly’s when you are having so much
fun. The closure of “05” has been admirable and the New Year has already brought favourable circumstances to achieve and to divide some of the
things I hold the most pure to me (Art, Music, Austin, and Life!)

I almost succeeded in achieving one of last years resolutions. I made a promise to myself in “04” to make it through the year of “05” without
breaking any bones. LOL (If you read my bio you will understand why this was an important resolution.)

While riding my bicycle on the way home from the Austin Music Festival two months ago, I crashed. The wreck left me without a bike to ride and a
very expensive hospital bill. Two days later I had a metal plate added to my wrist. OUCH! Hard to believe I broke my wrist bad enough for a metal
plate to be added, but I did it it (shaking head). Soooooo, needless to say; my resolution for this year is to make it through “06” without having a
metal plate of any sort attached to my body. I still have two limbs without gory scary scars and foreign metal objects, so my wish is to keep it that way
(I have a metal plate in my hip!). Other than the bicycle accident, I achieved many of the other wishes I had hoped for. (Stop locking my keys in the
car, quit losing my wallet…tee hee, the success of this Web Site (which is now at about 6000+ hits), and “best of all” Create Art that can be
appreciated).

I am not sure what this year will inaugurate for me, but I do know that it will be filled with honesty and be one that is amiable. I have much to be kindly
disposed of and have put many demons behind me. My Son, my Family, my Doggies, and a ton of wonderful like minded Austinites are what I am
truly obliged too.

These days have me very busy! My day job, creating graphics for various Musicians/Businesses hear within Austin, and photographing the work that
I share here on this site of some our Town’s finest keeps me more than filled.

I will continue to do this, as it is something I hold dear and the thing that brings my soul balance in all this craziness we live in. I am off to read the
Journal Jes the Adventure has sent to me and to get it published for you to read. Until my next entry I wish you all happiness and health.

“HOW BOUT THEM LONGHORNS!” ( : Tonight I am taking my Son to see the University of Texas tower! I’ll share some Art of this with you within the
next few days! ( “ Wesley
